Annabel Williams Contemporary Photographic Training (CPT) is pleased to announce the launch of The Annabel Williams Photographic Awards 2009 to celebrate and reward photographic excellence in the world of wedding and portrait photography.
The bi-annual Annabel Williams Photographic Awards are designed to honour the UK's leading photographers, recognising inspiration, skill and true creativity. In accordance with the photographic philosophy that has earned Annabel Williams such respect within the industry, the Awards celebrate the infinite possibilities that contemporary photography unfolds.
Who can enter? - Everyone
Entry fee - £5.00 (entitles the entrant to submit into every category with a maximum of one image/album)
1st prize - Canon EOS 5D mark 2 and 18-200mm lens

Craf World Contest 2009
On the occasion of the Thirteenth Edition of the International Contest Fax for peace, Fax for Tolerance
The Participants and the Subject Matter
The initiative intends to have as participants:
- the students of schools of every sort and grade, from Elementary School to the University;
- professional and amateur photographers.
The requirements are to take and send one or more photographs, traditional or digital, in black and white or colour, that have as their theme peace, tolerance, the struggle against every form of racism, the defence of human rights.
The photographs may be of two types:
1a) PHOTOGRAPHS in a traditional format (traditional photographic prints) should be sent to CRAF, Via Friuli 2, 33090 Lestans (Pordenone), Italy in the formats 18x24 cm up to 40x50 cm, in black and white or colour;
1b) PHOTOGRAPHS in digital file should be sent to the address: www.crafworldcontest.com
Use of the Photographs Sent in
Only the winning photographs may be utilized on other occasions as well, but in the spirit of the contest and always indicating the name of the author.

main streets, America is defined by its history and its present, how we
live and breathe within the fabric of our society. Enter the 2009
Tamron User Photo Contest and showcase your image of what makes America
tick!
Prize - winner will receive a magnificent Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 VC Di-II
Aspherical (IF) Macro zoom lens in Canon or Nikon mount and have his or
her winning image showcased in Tamron's Viewfinder magazine. The winner
and up to 20 favorites will have their winning images published on the
Tamron website Photo Gallery and on Tamron's page on Facebook for all
to see.
Guidelines
- Log in and start to upload images to the Photo Contest 2009 category. Images cannot be larger than 95K.
- Tamron reserves the right to delete any images that do not have anything to do with this contest.
Open to U.S.
residents only. Any images submitted from outside the U.S. will not be considered for any prizes.
