3rd annual Worldwide WOW Photo Contes

CPC Elevate is proud to sponsor the 3rd annual Worldwide WOW Photo Contest. Canadian Amateur photographers are invited to submit their best photos in keeping with the categories of the contest on or before midnight October 27th, 2009. Photos will be judged by a panel of professional photographers prior to the Worldwide WOW Gala with three prizes being awarded in each of four categories as well as one grand prize. Photographic prizes are sponsored by The Camera Store in Calgary, AB.

Winners will be notified by November 3rd, 2009 and winning photos and entries of merit will be printed, framed or mounted by U-Frame-It Chinook and showcased at the Worldwide WOW Photo Exhibition and Gala on November 12th, 2009.

Eligibility (Amateurs)Canada only

Entries can be submitted for $35.00 each or 3 for $90.00. Proceeds from the Worldwide WOW Photo Exhibition and Gala are donated to the Empowering Families Program through Aspen in Calgary, AB.

Grand Prize: Grand Prize: Nikon D90 DSLR outfit, including lens, tripod, bag, filter, memory card, photo book, instructional DVD and workshop, 4 complimentary tickets to the Worldwide WOW Gala, plus your winning photograph professionally framed (value over $2400).

Plus: 1st Prize in each category: Sanyo E2 Blue Waterproof CameraCorder, including bag, mini tripod, memory card, photo book, instructional DVD and workshop, 2 complimentary tickets to the Worldwide WOW Gala, plus your winning photograph professionally framed (value over $800).

2nd Prize in each category: Nikon Coolpicks L100, 2 complimentary tickets to the Worldwide WOW Gala, plus your winning photograph professionally framed (value over $600).

3rd Prize in each category: $100 Coupon, 2 complimentary tickets to the Worldwide WOW Gala, plus your winning photograph professionally framed (value over $400).

In addition to our selected winners, 40 - 50 Honourable Mention photographs will also be selected and displayed in our winners' gallery at the Worldwide WOW Gala. Attendees at the Gala will vote on their favourite photograph to determine a "People's Choice" entry.
